Appreciate your write-up, couldnt have done it without! Definitely going to hit up the horn replacement too, as mine sound like a dying elephant! Its really quite funny to hear, I think one went "flat" :) And yeah, I am definately going to test the driveshaft in the AM once my neighbors leave...gonna leave the exhaust off in case it has issues. I have been told the same thing though by basically everyone in my area with a Z - go take it to have it rebalanced. We will see.... Anyhow, one last picture for the night. If anyone hasnt done this, I highly suggest it for obvious reasons, and especially since I finished this side in an all of 10 mins. Air flow should be substantially increased for the new SMICs. Thanks to whitepearlz for the inspiration on this one. Although mine aren't quite as pretty, its function over form on this one...20 mins more would yield perfect results (need to wash em too). Not too worried though, unlikely they will be visible. I used a swiss army knife and a hair dryer btw, so definately nothing fancy. Link to original post: Fender vents Mine after 10 mins:
Ill try to note if it causes excessive undue dirt in the area over the next few days.
